Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in New York City on Tuesday for the United Nations General Assembly.

Iranian state media confirmed the arrival ahead of a series of high-level diplomatic engagements, including bilateral meetings and an address to the General Assembly on Wednesday.

Opposition groups also announced demonstrations outside U.N. headquarters ahead of his U.N. attendance on Wednesday.
